Nature Walk

Today I went on a photo walk. I walked out my front door, passed all the buildings in our apartment complex, and then kept walking straight into some farm fields. Technically I was trespassing, but I was on mission. For a couple of weeks now I have been eying some fields of sunflowers in our neighborhood. They're gorgeous! They make me happy. They bring me hope. Despite the heavy load of weight that they bear, they continue to stand and lift their heavy heads toward the light. It's pretty remarkable, and they do it with so much beauty and vibrance.
