Yesterday evening I was looking out our kitchen window and was mesmerized by all the glowing daffodils in our yard. Most of them have gone to seed by this point, so I knew I had to run out and take a picture before the sun set further behind the horizon. It's been weeks since we've enjoyed such beautiful light like this before a sunset, and I just love the richness of color and the bokeh that it produces.
Of course, I couldn't go outside without my little friend. It feels like I rarely ever get this kid to look at me anymore when I've got my camera. He's too interested in looking at everything else or running around. It's a good thing I was fast though, because this was pretty much the only chance I had to take a picture of him looking at me! Such a cutie!
